Blue Note Tokyo Interview

Thanks to Mitsutaka Nagira for interviewing me about my two nights at Blue Note Tokyo with Amaryllis coming up on August 30th and 31st.

These will be my first-ever dates as a bandleader in Japan, which is one of my favorite places in the world, and it’s been a longtime dream to bring my band there.

The Blue Note dates will also mark the debut of Amaryllis’s newest member, Yvonne Rogers (piano and synthesizer).

We'll be premiering two brand new compositions plus other relatively new unrecorded material, as well as music from our 2025 release, About Ghosts (Nonesuch Records).

A custom About Ghosts T-shirt is in the works as well, specially for the Japan shows!
