Canis Major @ Close Up NYC 11/21-22

I'm really looking forward to this two-night stand (8pm and 10pm sets both nights) on Friday, November 21st and Saturday, November 22nd with my newest group, Canis Major, featuring Dave Adewumi, Henry Fraser and Tomas Fujiwara.

We'll be premiering new music at these shows, although all the music is relatively new—so far this band has only played sporadically, with dates at Jazz Gallery in March and the Vision Festival this past summer.

There's much more coming in 2026: European tours in the Spring and Fall, plus a Spring US tour including a performance at one of my favorite festivals: Big Ears in Knoxville, Tennessee.
