Illegal Crowns With Special Guest, Wadada Leo Smith, at Dartmouth 2/28

Unfortunately, Benoît Delbecq isn't able to travel to the States for Illegal Crowns’ next date at Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth College this Saturday, but Taylor, Tomas and I are pleased to welcome a very special guest: trumpeter Wadada Leo Smith.

Wadada is one of my musical heroes, and it’s an honor to get a chance to perform with him in a quartet setting.

It doesn't hurt that a rare six-planet alignment will be happening above us right around the time we're hitting the stage.
